Sometimes called a boat moccasin, this iconic silhouette retains its historic codes: a stitched platform, visible seams and that authentic lacing that wraps around the foot.

At Zèta, we have reinvented this timeless classic. Designed in Bordeaux, our version challenges traditional codes with a bold sole and daring colour and print combinations.

Each design first passes through the hands of the CTCP (the Centre Technologique de la Chaussure au Portugal) to ensure they are as comfortable as possible! But we go further: before reaching your feet, our prototypes are tested for many months in real conditions by our own teams. The result? An ultra-comfortable boat moccasin, supple from the very first day, designed to accompany you from morning to evening!

Imbued with the gentle scent of Saudade, our approach values the long view and work done well. It is in Portugal, within our family workshops with their historic expertise, that your shoes come to life.

True to our values, we have selected recycled materials to create designs that are as durable as they are beautiful. From the upper to the sole, every component is designed to minimise our impact. 

How to wear your boat shoes?

Forget the overly classic side: with the mule, the boat shoe has become the obsession of the season. Dare to wear it with pretty visible socks under a midi skirt or high-waisted shorts. For everyday wear, pair your boat shoes with a long jean that falls over the shoe.
