For this collaboration with Café Joyeux, we wanted to link inclusion with our expertise. So we took what we do best at Zèta—recycled sneakers made in our family workshops in Portugal—to create a mismatched pair full of meaning. With its sole made from real coffee grounds, these sneakers are designed to bring a smile and celebrate differences.

At Café Joyeux, coffee is served with heart. This family of cafés and coffee and tea brand employs and trains people with mental and cognitive disabilities. We share this vision of a world where everyone has their place. Our solidarity sneaker directly supports this mission of inclusion through work, training, and encounters.

A (truly) circular pair

For this collaboration, we wanted to go further: so we integrated coffee grounds from Café Joyeux in Lisbon into our soles.

Specifically, the grounds are collected, dried, ground, then mixed with our recycled rubber in our family workshops in Portugal to create a robust and textured sole.

And best of all: it smells like roasted coffee!
