FAQ
› What is the lifespan of a pair of Zèta?Our materials are carefully selected so that you can keep your trainers for as long as possible.
Before launch, each of our prototypes is tested by the CTCP (Centro Tecnológico do Calçado de Portugal) to carry out flexibility and abrasion tests. In addition, our prototypes are tested in real conditions within our team and by select members of the Zèta club.
Each pair is assembled by hand by our Portuguese craftspeople, and a rigorous quality control is carried out at the end of every production run.› Are Zèta trainers comfortable?Comfort is often a characteristic overlooked by brands in the design of their shoes.
At Zèta, we place aesthetics, ethics and comfort at the heart of every product we develop.
Thanks to their thick soles and their soft lining, our shoes are true slippers (approved and recommended by osteopaths)!
Say goodbye to blisters and leg pain: they will be your best companion for long walks in the city or in the forest!› Are all models unisex? All our sneakers are unisex. We offer sizes ranging from 35 to 48 (depending on the collections).
We adapt each model so that it can suit the morphology of the foot (width, instep, heel), and the insoles are removable so you can slip in your own specific insoles if needed.› Can you buy in store? You can find most of our models at our stockists across France and Europe, right here. To become a retailer and distribute Zèta, this is where it happens.

Coffee — A material that gives your capsules a new life
Before being a shoe, the Moka is a residue. More precisely, coffee grounds. A by-product found abundantly in our consumption habits — particularly through single-use capsules.
At Zèta, we don't see it as a leftover, but as a resource.
From coffee to shoe
The grounds are collected at a Nespresso sorting centre in Portugal. They are first dehydrated in ovens, then blended with a water-based PU. This dark paste is then spread onto a cotton canvas before being cut and hand-assembled.
The resulting texture is supple, durable, and slightly grainy. It is this deep brown material that gives the Moka its name.
Locally rooted, designed to last
Made in Portugal, this material contains:
15% coffee, 50% cotton, 35% water-based PU.
It is assembled onto our trainers by our local artisans, with the same level of exacting craftsmanship as our other models.
Your feet carry you — take care of them.
At Zèta, comfort is not a detail — it is a starting point. Where many brands focus solely on style, we take the challenge of combining aesthetics, ethics and well-being at every stage of our trainers' development.
Our styles are designed to adapt naturally to your foot: supple, lightweight and breathable, they give you the feeling of walking in slippers — and that is indeed what more than 90% of our customers tell us in their reviews. So it is not just us saying it — it is you.
The secret? We use Strobel construction, a premium manufacturing technique that gives the shoe exceptional flexibility. The result: natural cushioning, no sensation of stiffness, and unparalleled freedom of movement, even after hours of walking.
No more blisters or heavy legs: our trainers go everywhere with you, in the city or in the forest, from the very first to the very last step of your day.
Trainers built to last, with no compromise on comfort.
Our materials are carefully selected to be pleasant to wear and long-lasting. Before launch, all our prototypes pass through the hands of the CTCP (Centre Technologique de la Chaussure au Portugal) for flexibility and abrasion testing. They are then tested in real conditions by our team and the members of the Zèta club.
Each pair is hand-assembled by our Portuguese craftspeople, then subjected to rigorous quality control to ensure that your comfort meets our standards — and yours.
Workshop – Ovar, Portugal
We are proud to collaborate with partners who share our values and are just as committed as we are, both environmentally and socially.
It was in 1993 that Manuel Oliveira founded his own workshop, having spent his teenage years crafting shoes. A few years ago, his son Tierri joined the family business and its 25 artisans.
This team of true enthusiasts perpetuates artisanal assembly and pays particular attention to detail and finish. They were the first to believe in the early stages of the project in 2019, and today they are at the heart of the brand.
