A closer look at material care

Because every material is unique, follow our detailed recommendations to care for your Zèta model.

Vegan suede is a soft and textured material. It is this velvety finish that gives it character — but also what makes it more delicate.

It easily picks up dust. Moisture can leave marks on it. And rubbing too hard can damage it.

1) Dry brush with a specialist suede brush
2) Use a gentle eraser for dry stains
3) Lightly dab with a barely damp cloth (if needed)
4) Air dry, away from a heat source
5) Waterproof with a suitable vegan spray (optional)

Mesh is a woven, breathable material. Lightweight, but fragile when exposed to friction or harsh products.

1) Remove the laces and wash them separately
2) Prepare a gentle solution (lukewarm water + mild soap)
3) Clean with a soft brush following the direction of the weave
4) Wipe with a slightly damp cloth
5) Leave to air dry, with paper inside to maintain the shape

Canvas is a supple yet resistant material that does not cope well with being heavily saturated in water.

1) Remove dust with a soft brush or dry cloth
2) Clean with a sponge or soft brush + warm soapy water
3) Lightly rinse with a damp cloth to remove any residue
4) Leave to dry naturally, away from sunlight or a heat source

Plant-based faux leather is derived from plants such as grapes or olives. It mimics the appearance of leather, but without any animal origin.

Supple and durable, it is sensitive to water and friction. However, as with fine leather, it must be treated with care.

1) Clean with a soft cloth dampened with lukewarm water and mild soap (for ease, you can use our cleaning kit)
2) Gently rinse with a slightly damp cloth
3) Immediately wipe with a clean, dry cloth
4) Leave to air dry, away from any heat source

To clean the sole, start by dry-brushing with the soft brush, then apply a small amount of soap to the slightly dampened sponge. Clean by gently working over any marked areas, without scrubbing too hard. Then wipe with the clean, damp cloth and leave to air dry, away from any heat source.

Your questions about caring for your sneakers

Can I machine wash my trainers?

No. Even on a cold or delicate cycle, machine washing can damage the materials, the adhesives and the finishes. We recommend hand cleaning, using gentle movements.

How often should I clean my trainers?

As soon as necessary, but ideally you should care for them regularly, even without any visible staining. A quick dry brush helps prevent the build-up of dirt.

Can I use any product?

We recommend avoiding conventional or harsh cleansers. Where the material allows, opt for gentle solutions, free from alcohol and solvents. Our kit is designed precisely for this purpose.

How should I store my Zèta when I'm not wearing them?

Store them in a dry place, away from direct light and heat. If possible, keep the original pouch or box to protect them from dust.

Can I clean my vegan suede trainers with soap?

No, avoid soap.
Vegan suede is a delicate material that dislikes both water and overly powerful products.
Opt for dry brushing, a gentle eraser, and a barely damp cloth if needed.
