An important point: Portugal is THE shoemaking nation in Europe. They possess an ancestral, renowned expertise that truly took off in the 1970s.
Today, we are proud to collaborate with the finest workshops and artisans in the region: Tierri, Albano, Manuel, Licinia… They work in Ovar and Vizela in family-run workshops in northern Portugal, where craftsmanship is handed down from generation to generation. Some have been working here for over 30 years, bringing the same passion and quality as they did on day one.

Expert hands, immense talent.
Here, there is no mass production. Each pair is assembled, checked, and tested by hand. So it is not just 1% of products that are checked at random like in certain factories (you know the ones…). But 100%. Every single pair is meticulously inspected, keeping the risk of defects to an absolute minimum.
The difference between a good and a truly great product?
Its level of detail.
Yet to enhance the level of detail, one must dedicate time to it. At a time when production is speeding up and intensifying, we choose to slow down and take our time. Taking the time to do things right and practice our craft to perfection.
To give you an idea, it takes between 5 and 6 hours to produce a single pair. It passes from hand to hand and station to station, meeting a good twenty experts along the way: cutting the panels, assembly, bonding the sole, quality checks at every stage, and packaging... In fact, the real saying isn't "work of a master goldsmith", but "work of an artisan from Ovar".

It was by listening to all your feedback that we understood the problem with today’s trainers. They make your feet ache after a single day. Not to mention wearing them several days in a row. So we made comfort our top priority:
• Thick recycled rubber sole, slightly angled to support the perfect posture. Offering more cushioning than most pairs on the market.
• Woven cotton lining, breathable yet designed to wrap your foot in a cushioned, supportive embrace.
• And most importantly: testing. Before release, every new product is tested in real-world conditions over several months to ensure durability and comfort. If we are not completely satisfied, it’s back to the material sourcing and production stage to start again.
