The Alpha collection is crafted from an innovative and sustainable grape-based material, giving new life to tonnes of wine-making by-products generated by vineyards each year.
Manufacturing process
During winemaking, the grape marc—composed of skins, seeds, and residues—is set aside before being dehydrated in ovens. The dried material is ground into a fine powder before being blended with water-based PU to form a thick paste. This paste is then spread onto a recycled polyester fabric, ready to be cut and assembled by our artisans into our shoes.
Country of manufacture
Milan, ITALY
Composition
- 55% grape
- 45% water-based PU (100% recycled polyester lining)

The Bêta, Alta, Velcro and Kids collections are crafted from corn-based material, one of the most innovative and durable plant-based alternatives.
Manufacturing process
The corn used comes from non-food crops, meaning it does not divert food resources from human or animal supply chains. Once harvested, the corn undergoes fermentation to extract dextrose, a process that requires no petrochemicals. The extracted dextrose is used to create a polymer that is blended with a small amount of PU to produce a thick, durable fibre.
Manufacturing origin
Milan, ITALY
Composition
- 73% Bio PU
- 27% recycled polyester (50% corn content)

The Moka collection is crafted from an innovative coffee-based material, repurposing coffee grounds from capsules.
Manufacturing process
The coffee grounds are extracted from capsules at the Nespresso recycling facility in Portugal. The coffee is dehydrated in ovens to remove moisture, then blended with water-based PU to solidify the material. The resulting brown material is then spread onto a thick cotton canvas, before being cut by our artisans and assembled onto the shoe.
Country of origin
PORTUGAL
Composition
- 15% Coffee
- 50% Cotton
- 35% Water-based PU
Our laces and the lining of our Alpha, Velcro and Kids collections are made from recycled plastic, derived from recycled plastic bottles.

Manufacturing origin
Felgueiras, PORTUGAL
Composition
- 100% recycled PET

The Olea collection is made from an innovative and durable olive-based material, helping to upcycle the tonnes of olive waste produced by olive groves each year.
Manufacturing process
After pressing the olives to extract the oil, the olive pomace—made up of skins, pits and residues—is set aside and finely ground. It is then mixed with PU to create a thick paste that is dyed with natural pigments.
The paste is spread over a thick canvas before going into ovens to solidify the material, and is then cut by our artisans to craft our shoes.
Origin of manufacture
Istanbul, TURKEY
Composition
- 87% Olive
- 13% water-based PU
