It has now been 1 year since the Zèta adventure began. Always as conscious of our impact on the planet as a company, we want to commit even more deeply to projects close to our hearts.
On the occasion of “Pink October”, the breast cancer awareness campaign organised by the charity La Ligue contre le cancer, we are proud to announce the launch of the Alpha Pink trainer, part of the proceeds of which will be donated to the Gironde Committee.
The collaboration of two committed players
Born just a year ago thanks to a crowdfunding campaign that brought together nearly 2,700 early customers. We now offer 9 models, distributed both on our website and across our five partner shops, including the Cité du Vin in Bordeaux. We have models for everyone, from more classic beige trainers to our high-top trainer styles.
Our shoes are made in Portugal and each of our suppliers has been carefully selected based on their proximity to our workshop. We design our products ensuring the lowest possible environmental impact, while respecting people.
We now wish to take our commitments even further by collaborating with La Ligue contre le cancer for the “Pink October” campaign. Alongside the teams from La Ligue, we want to raise awareness and inform our community about breast cancer prevention initiatives.
La Ligue contre le cancer works daily to provide psychological support to patients, social assistance, help returning to work, prevention, and funding for research.
For every pair ordered, €10 will be donated to the charity La Ligue contre le cancer de Gironde.
A pair of grape trainers to see life through rose-tinted glasses
Ordinary in appearance, this white trainer with pink details is actually crafted entirely from end-of-life materials: wine industry by-products, plastic recovered from the Mediterranean, recycled cork, and recycled rubber.An international symbol of the fight against breast cancer, the pink ribbon is engraved on the outside of the shoe and embroidered at the back.
The Alpha Pink model is available for pre-order from 8 to 22 October only, with delivery scheduled for mid-November.
As with all our models, we take back our grape trainers for free at the end of their life to recycle them into green fuel via the Gebetex sorting centre. Nothing is lost, everything is transformed!
