The Olea collection is made from an innovative and durable olive-based material, helping to upcycle the tonnes of olive waste produced by olive groves each year.
Manufacturing process
After pressing the olives to extract the oil, the olive pomace—made up of skins, pits and residues—is set aside and finely ground. It is then mixed with PU to create a thick paste that is dyed with natural pigments.
The paste is spread over a thick canvas before going into ovens to solidify the material, and is then cut by our artisans to craft our shoes.
