The Douro loafer is a classic moccasin inspired by the 1900s.
Designed in our Bordeaux studio, this classic round-toe loafer is a timeless style that pairs effortlessly with trousers or a dress for everyday wear.
Thanks to its supple upper and removable lined insole, this moccasin is as comfortable as a trainer.
Each component is carefully selected for its durability and place of production.

For the Douro style, we recommend going up one size from your usual size. If you are between two sizes and are unsure, opt for the larger one.

The olive oil is extracted. What remains is generally overlooked. At Zèta, that is where everything begins. Skins, stones, olive fragments: all these residues, known as pomace, are ground and then transformed into material for shoes.
After grinding, the olive pomace is mixed with a water-based PU. The resulting paste is then tinted with natural pigments, spread onto a thick canvas and heat-set to stabilise its shape.
It is then cut in Istanbul, before being assembled in our workshops. This process helps limit waste, optimise olive by-products, and offer a viable alternative to less responsible materials.
The material is composed of 87% olive and 13% water-based PU.
It is developed under the Oleatex® certification, a benchmark in plant-based alternatives derived from olive groves.
Because it offers a true hold, good resistance to wear, and a visual finish that remains understated.
And because using agricultural residues is a concrete way of producing differently.

Before launch, all our prototypes pass through the hands of the CTCP (Centro Tecnológico do Calçado de Portugal) for flexibility and abrasion testing. They are then tested in real conditions by our team and the members of the Zèta club.
Each pair is hand-assembled by our Portuguese craftspeople, then subjected to rigorous quality control to ensure that your comfort meets our standards — and yours.

Livraison en précommande un peu longue, mais tellement content lors de la réception ! Taille conforme au conseil de pointure, matière vegan identique à un vrai beau cuir (bluffant), pas de douleurs aux maléoles après une journée complète, et la petite touche de Hairy vache pour la modernité, c'est parfait ! merci Zèta 🫶

Conformes aux photos et description, elles sont magnifiques. La semelle extérieure est un peu dure donc j’ai dû « les faire » un peu mais aujourd’hui ça va mieux. Étant donné que j’ai les pieds fin, je cherche des semelles car autrement pour le moment je ne peux les porter qu’avec des grosses chaussettes.
Très bon modèle, taille une demi pointure au dessus - j'ai acheté du 38 alors que je fais du 37 en suivant les recommandations, mais j'ai du acheter des demis semelles pour les porter confortablement. Sinon je recommande, très belles :)

Super expérience. Livraison rapide, produit de qualité et taille de paire de mocassins conforme à ce qui a été indiqué sur le site. Je n'ai pas eu à faire de retour. Les chaussures sont très confortables dès le premier essai.

C'était pour un cadeau, très contente.
Les mocassins sont très étroits, le choix de la pointure serait à conseiller vers une taille au-dessus de celle habituelle. Le service des retours a été laborieux, long et manquant de réactivité. Je ne renouvellerai pas la pré-commande, c’est une mauvais expérience. De plus, je n’ai pas reçu la surprise promise comme dédommagement aux délais de livraison à rallonge.
La paire est magnifique et super sobre mais élégante et intemporelle. La qualité est géniale (surtout quand on prend en considération que c'est du cuir vegan) mais par contre le comfort et la taile ce n'est pas ça du tout... Je fais généralement un 39 donc j'avais acheté une paire en 39 qui s'est avérée être beaucoup trop petite (je ne rentrais même pas le pied dedans ?). J'ai demandé un échange contre du 40 et là gros problème, même avec une semelle mémoire de forme et une demi semelle en gel, la paire est beaucoup trop grande et j'ai déjà des ampoules après les avoir porté que deux fois...
