Le collezioni Bêta, Alta, Velcro e Kids sono realizzate a partire da materiale a base di mais, un'alternativa vegetale tra le più innovative e resistenti.
Processo di produzione
Il mais utilizzato proviene da coltivazioni non alimentari, che non sottraggono quindi risorse alle filiere alimentari umane o animali. Una volta raccolto, il mais viene sottoposto a fermentazione per estrarne il destrosio, il cui processo non richiede l’impiego di prodotti petrolchimici. Il destrosio estratto viene utilizzato per creare un polimero che sarà unito a una piccola percentuale di PU per dare vita a una fibra spessa e resistente.
