A new innovative material
The Olea collection is distinguished by the use of a revolutionary new olive-based material. This allows us to repurpose the tons of olive waste produced by olive groves each year. Its shiny, durable texture offers a look similar to animal leather. With this material, we are reinforcing our commitment to 100% vegan and sustainable fashion.
An eco-responsible manufacturing process
Every step in the creation of the Olea collection is designed to minimize environmental impact. From design to material selection, we've adopted a circular and sustainable approach. The olive-based material we use is derived from residues from the olive oil industry, giving existing resources a second life.
After pressing the olives to extract the oil, the olive pomace, consisting of the skins, seeds, and residue, is set aside and finely ground. It is then mixed with PU to create a thick paste that is then dyed with natural pigments.
The dough is spread on a thick cloth before passing through ovens to solidify the material, then will be cut by our craftsmen for the manufacture of our shoes.
