Your questions about Sherpa jackets
What is a Sherpa jacket?
The Sherpa, also known as a shearling-effect jacket, is a jacket with the appearance of sheepskin wool, but without the sheep. It was designed to keep you warm while remaining lightweight. Originally conceived for the mountains and the outdoors, it quickly became a winter essential, reimagined today in cuts and materials that make it easy to wear every day.
How to choose the size of your jacket?
This jacket features a slightly oversized cut; for a more fitted look, please go one size down from your usual size.
Eduardo is 1m82 and wears a size M.
Louisa is 1m75 and wears a size M.
How to wear a Sherpa jacket?
The Sherpa is an ultra-versatile piece. You can wear it as a lightweight jacket over a T-shirt or shirt, layer it with a sweater, or slip it under a coat on colder days. Its slightly oversized cut makes it easy to pair without looking too technical. With jeans, wide-leg pants, or even a well-chosen pair of sweatpants, it goes anywhere. The idea is for it to fit into your everyday life without any hassle.
How to wash this fleece?
The best approach is to machine wash it at 30° on a gentle cycle, then leave it to air dry. There is no need for a tumble dryer, which would damage the fibres and consumes a great deal of energy. The idea is to preserve its softness and shape, while respecting the planet. And since it does not easily retain odours, a simple airing between wears is often enough.
Is Sherpa warm?
Yes, that's even its reason for being.
Its fleece material, teddy bear type, insulates well from the cold while remaining breathable.
The difference with a down jacket is that it is lighter, more flexible and therefore more pleasant to wear on a daily basis.
The fleece jacket is a must-have this winter!
What is the best jacket for the cold?
The one that keeps you warm, obviously—but without making you feel like you're wearing a duvet.
The ideal is a well-insulated, breathable jacket that is comfortable to layer.
The Sherpa ticks all these boxes: soft, warm and light all at once.
