Nechat kouzlo působit…

Ve skutečnosti je to trochu složitější, ale přesně takový pocit máme, když posíláme nákresy do našich dílen v Portugalsku. Když jednoduchý nápad den za dnem roste, aby se stal výkresem. Pak prototypem. Pak finální verzí o několik měsíců později. Pojďte, povíme vám vše.

Made in Portugal.

By those who know.

An important point: Portugal is THE shoe-producing country in Europe. It possesses an ancestral and widely recognised expertise that truly took off in the 1970s.

Today, we are proud to collaborate with the finest workshops and the most skilled craftspeople in the region: Tierri, Albano, Manuel, Licinia… They work in Ovar and Vizela, in family-run workshops in the north of Portugal, where expertise is passed down from generation to generation. Some have been working here for over 30 years, bringing the same passion and the same quality from day one.

100% handcrafted assembly.

Small hands, big talent.

There's no mass production here. Each pair is assembled, checked, and tested by hand. So, it's not just 1% of the products that are randomly checked like in some factories (follow my gaze...). It's 100%. Each one is then meticulously questioned, minimizing the risk of defects.

The difference between a good and a very good product?

Its level of detail.

But to increase the level of detail, you have to give it time. As production intensifies and accelerates, we choose to slow down and take our time. Take the time to do things well and to rehearse our scales until they are perfect.

To give you an idea, it takes between 5 and 6 hours to produce a pair. It passes from hand to hand and from station to station to meet a good twenty experts: cutting the inserts, assembly, gluing the sole, checking at each stage and packaging... Moreover, the true expression is not “Goldsmith's work” but “Ovar artisan's work”.

Focus on comfort.

A shoe that truly fits you.

It was by listening to all of your feedback that we understood the problem with today's trainers. They hurt your feet after a day's wear. And let's not even mention wearing them several days in a row. So we made comfort our top priority:

• Thick recycled rubber sole, slightly angled to encourage perfect posture. Offering more cushioning than the majority of pairs on the market.

• Woven cotton interior, which does not retain heat, but wraps the foot in a padded material and keeps it supported.

• And most importantly: testing. Before launch, every new product is tested in real conditions to ensure its durability and comfort over several months. If we are not fully satisfied, it is back to the materials sourcing and production stage to start again.
