Shipping by air.

Until early 2025, we refused to ship our products outside Europe due to the carbon emissions of flying. Today, we are expanding into the American and Asian markets to continue growing and offer everyone the opportunity to wear responsible footwear.

It would be foolish for a brand like ours to transport and store our merchandise without first testing the demand. We have already established the best way to ship to these countries (by cargo ship across the Atlantic and by train along the Silk Road). But first, we need to ensure existing traction in these markets.

Our factories and ISO certifications.

ISO certifications are assessments that attest to the quality and best practices to be followed in a sector. In our factories, typically. Their main drawback? Their price.

Our partners can't always afford this. To overcome this, we've established strict monitoring and specifications together:

• we visit them every 6 months to ensure the conditions and workloads.

• we are constantly in contact with each other and are aware of everything that is happening there: salaries, holidays, sick leave, working hours, etc.

Meet our partners.

Because we believe that a successful business relationship is, above all, a wonderful human encounter. All of our partners are located close to us in Europe: Portugal, Italy, and Turkey.

However, when areas are too remote or too complicated to reach, we have no choice but to go there by plane. As much as possible, we take the train and the bus ( Bordeaux - Istanbul : 10,000 kilometers of rail and reflection, for the launch of our Olea model ).

It's long, sure. But it's so nice to take the time and slow down!

Plastic in plant materials.

The co-products we use to make our sneakers ( corn , grapes , olives , coffee ) cannot be used in their raw state. They must be mixed with polyurethane which stiffens and strengthens the material to make it durable.

For the corn and olive models, this PU is bio-sourced, meaning it's produced without plastic and from renewable resources. For the others, the PU contains a small amount of plastic. For example, the faux leather in the Alpha model contains 75% grape pomace and 25% PU.

We work daily in R&D to reduce the concentration of plastic-based PU in our materials as much as possible. And, ultimately, eliminate it completely!
