La collection Olea est fabriquée à partir d’une matière innovante et résistante en olive, permettant ainsi de revaloriser les tonnes de déchets oléicoles produits par les oliveraies chaque année.
Processus de fabrication
Après le pressage des olives pour en extraire l’huile, les grignons d’olive constitués des peaux, pépins et résidus - sont mis de côté et broyés finement. Ils seront ensuite mélangés à du PU afin de devenir une pâte épaisse qui sera teinte avec des pigments naturels.
La pâte est étalée sur une toile épaisse avant de passer dans des fours pour solidifier la matière, puis sera découpée par nos artisans pour la fabrication de nos chaussures.
