Each style is tested at the CTCP to verify its resistance, flexibility and longevity. Then, each pair is assembled by hand over 5 to 6 hours and passes through the hands of around twenty craftspeople, with a quality check at every stage.
Because a durable shoe is, above all, a well-designed, well-crafted shoe made to be worn again and again!
Before you put them on your feet, we put them on ours first. Every new style is worn and tested for several months, then goes through the CTCP, the Portuguese technology centre specialising in footwear. If it's not quite perfect yet, we adjust and start again.
And evidently, it works: 90% of our customers confirm their comfort!
At Zèta, we love looking where no one else is really looking. Grape marc, olive skin, coffee or even maize — we transform by-products into desirable shoes! We test, we adjust, we start again… until we find the right material, the right feel and the right finish. At Zèta, we believe that a responsible shoe must above all be a shoe you truly want to wear. That's why we create timeless styles, handcrafted in Portugal, using innovative materials such as corn, coffee, olive, grape, and recycled tennis balls. Comfortable shoes, designed to last and accompany you every day.
Where are Zèta shoes made?
All our shoes are handmade in our family workshops in Portugal. Each pair requires nearly 6 hours of craftsmanship — the time needed to bring a quality, long-lasting shoe to life.
Are Zèta shoes comfortable?
Yes, and it's even one of our greatest strengths. Before reaching your feet, every pair is tested at the CTCP, the Technological Footwear Centre in Portugal, and then worn for several months by our teams.
And you can feel it: more than 90% of our customers tell us that their Zèta shoes are particularly comfortable.
How do I care for the models?
To keep your Zèta in the best condition for as long as possible, we recommend waterproofing them from the very first wear and caring for them with products suited to their material. For suede-effect models, opt for a specialist brush or a cleaning eraser, without using water. Find all our advice in our care guide.

Are Zèta shoes truly vegan?
Yes! All our shoes are 100% vegan and contain no materials of animal origin. Instead, we develop plant-based and recycled alternatives, selected for their quality, comfort, and durability.
How do exchanges and returns work?
1. Exchanges
You have 30 days after receiving your order to request an exchange. Exchanges are free of charge within the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. For other countries, the shipping costs for the new delivery remain your responsibility.
2. Returns & refunds
Returns for a refund are accepted within 30 days.
Return fees are deducted from the refund:
- France: €6
- European Union (excluding France and Germany): €10
- United Kingdom and Switzerland: €10
The refund is processed within 15 to 30 days after receipt and inspection of your return.
