The durable & functional sherpa jacket

The sherpa jacket, everyone loves it.
Soft, comforting… but often made from virgin polyester, sourced from far away, and impossible to recycle.

At Zèta, we kept what matters: comfort, warmth and style — in a 100% recycled version, with a modern cut, made in Portugal by skilled craftspeople.

A timeless jacket designed to last

This jacket was designed to last.
Not for a season, nor for a trend. But to accompany you for a long time, season after season, year after year.

Unisex, versatile and timeless, it is the wardrobe essential.
From mid-season to winter, it can be worn almost all year round: lightweight when it's mild and warm when it's cold!

We also tested it, re-tested it, worn it, washed it, worn it again.
In the wind, the rain, the cold. Over a jumper or under a coat, with jeans or smarter trousers. It has seen and lived through it all, and it has never let us down.

It's a jacket that adapts to you, not the other way around!

Your questions about Sherpa jackets

What is a Sherpa jacket?

The Sherpa, also known as a shearling-effect jacket, has the appearance of sheepskin wool — but without the sheep. It was designed to keep you warm while remaining lightweight. Originally conceived for the mountains and the outdoors, it quickly became a winter essential, today reimagined in cuts and materials that make it easy to wear every day.

What size jacket should I choose?

This jacket features a slightly oversized cut; for a more fitted look, please size down from your usual size.
Eduardo is 1.82 m tall and wears a size M.
Louisa is 1.75 m tall and wears a size M.

How do you wear a Sherpa jacket?

The sherpa is an incredibly versatile piece. You can wear it as a light jacket over a t-shirt or shirt, layer it over a jumper, or slip it under a coat on colder days. Its slightly oversized cut makes it easy to style, without looking too technical. With jeans, wide-leg trousers or even a well-chosen jogger, it works everywhere. The idea is that it follows your daily life, effortlessly.

How do I wash this fleece?

The best approach is to machine wash it at 30° on a gentle cycle, then leave it to air dry. No need for a tumble dryer, which would damage the fibres and consumes a lot of energy. The idea is to preserve its softness and shape, while respecting the planet. And since it doesn't hold odours easily, a simple airing between wears is often enough.

Is the Sherpa warm?

Yes, that is even its very purpose.
Its fleece-like material, of the teddy bear type, insulates well against the cold while remaining breathable.
The difference from a down jacket is that it is lighter, more flexible and therefore more comfortable for everyday wear.
The fleece jacket is the must-have of this winter!

What is the best jacket for the cold?

The one that keeps you warm, of course — but without making you feel like you're wearing a duvet.
Ideally, you want a jacket that is well-insulating, breathable and easy to layer.
The Sherpa ticks all those boxes: soft, warm and lightweight all at once.
