The Olea collection is made from an innovative and durable material derived from olives, allowing the upcycling of the tonnes of olive by-products generated by olive groves each year.

Manufacturing process

After the olives are pressed to extract the oil, the olive pomace — made up of skins, stones and residues — is set aside and finely ground. It is then blended with PU to form a thick paste, which is dyed using natural pigments.

The paste is spread onto a thick canvas before being passed through ovens to solidify the material, then cut by our craftspeople for the making of our shoes.
