It has now been 1 year since the Zèta adventure began. Still as mindful of our impact on the planet as a company, we wish to commit even further to projects that are close to our hearts.
On the occasion of "Octobre Rose", the breast cancer awareness campaign organised by the La Ligue contre le cancer association, we are proud to announce the launch of the Alpha Rose trainer, a portion of whose proceeds will be donated to the Gironde Committee.
The collaboration of two committed players
Born just a year ago thanks to a crowdfunding campaign that allowed us to bring together nearly 2,700 first customers. We now have 9 models, distributed both on our website and in our five partner boutiques, such as the Cité du Wine in Bordeaux. We have models for everyone, from beige trainers, more classic, to our high-top trainer models.
Our shoes are made in Portugal and each of our suppliers has been carefully selected based on their distance from the workshop. We design our products with the aim of having the lowest possible environmental impact, whilst respecting people.
We now wish to fully honour our commitments by collaborating with La Ligue contre le cancer for the "Octobre Rose" campaign. Alongside the teams at La Ligue, we aim to raise awareness and inform our community about breast cancer prevention initiatives.
La Ligue contre le cancer works daily through psychological support for patients, social assistance, return-to-work programmes, prevention and the funding of research.
For each pair ordered, €10 will be donated to the La Ligue contre le cancer de Gironde association.
A pair of grape-based trainers to see life through rose-tinted glasses
Seemingly ordinary, this white trainer with pink details is in fact made exclusively from end-of-life materials: wine-growing by-products, plastic recovered from the Mediterranean, recycled cork and rubber.An international symbol of the fight against breast cancer, the pink ribbon is engraved on the outside of the shoe and embroidered at the back.
The Alpha Rose model is available for pre-order from 8 to 22 October only, with delivery expected in mid-November.
As with all our models, we take back our grape-based trainers free of charge at the end of their life to recycle them into green fuel via the Gebetex sorting centre. Nothing is lost, everything is transformed!
