Bêta barefoot collection

At Zèta, we believe that feet don't need to be corrected, but to rediscover their freedom.

Thanks to their minimalist design, our barefoot shoes offer your feet more space, greater freedom of movement, and comfort designed for everyday life.

NATURAL POSITION

CONSTRAINED POSITION

What if your feet regained their freedom?

For thousands of years, humans walked barefoot across earth, rocks, and grass. The foot evolved precisely for that. Then came padded shoes, wedged heels, and maximum cushioning: the foot forgot how to walk...

Barefoot shoes are designed to allow your foot to move more naturally, featuring more room for your toes, a thin, flexible sole, and zero drop.

More freedom and sensation with every step.

Our vision of barefoot trainers

True to our DNA, our barefoot shoes are handcrafted in Portugal, in our family workshop, from vegan and recycled materials. And because trainers worn every day should also be a joy to wear, we designed this model to create a timeless silhouette that is easy to style.

A pair that finally feels great on your feet!

Zero-drop sole: heel and forefoot at the same level for more natural support

Flexible sole: to support your every movement

Wide toe box: more room for your toes to move naturally

Vegan materials: made from recycled plant-based materials

Your questions about barefoot shoes

What is a barefoot shoe?

A barefoot shoe is designed to respect the foot's natural movement.

Closer to the ground, it gives your toes more room, supports every step and offers more natural sensations. The aim is not to walk barefoot, but to rediscover a freer way of walking!

What is the difference between a barefoot trainer and a classic trainer?

The foot has 26 bones. It is made to move, adapt and feel.

Classic trainers, on the other hand, are often built around a few key areas: the heel, the arch and the forefoot. More cushioning, more support, more thickness. On paper, that is reassuring. But by guiding the foot too much, we can sometimes end up giving it less freedom.

Barefoot trainers follow a different logic: they bring the foot closer to the ground, give the toes more room and support natural foot placement, allowing the foot to move more freely.

Why wear barefoot shoes?

For millennia, our feet have evolved to walk freely. Barefoot shoes are inspired by this philosophy, giving the foot the space it needs to move naturally.

At Zèta, we believe you do not correct the foot; you give it back its space!

Why choose Zèta trainers?

Zèta barefoot trainers were born from a simple conviction: a shoe that respects the foot should not look like a technical shoe.

So we have brought together the best of both worlds. A barefoot design that gives your feet greater freedom of movement, paired with a clean silhouette inspired by our trainers, designed for everyday wear.

Like all our pairs, they are handmade in Portugal, in our family workshop, using vegan and recycled materials selected for their quality and durability.
