Your questions about Sherpa jackets
What is a Sherpa jacket?
The Sherpa jacket, also known as a sheepskin jacket, is a jacket with a sheepskin look, but without the sheepskin. It was designed to keep you warm while remaining lightweight. Initially designed for the mountains and the outdoors, it quickly became a winter essential, revisited today in cuts and materials that make it easy to wear every day.
How to choose the size of your jacket?
This jacket has a slightly oversized fit, for a more fitted fit, please take one size smaller than your usual size.
Eduardo is 1m82 tall and wears a size M.
Louisa is 1.75m tall and wears a size M.
How to wear a Sherpa jacket?
The Sherpa is an ultra-versatile piece. You can wear it as a lightweight jacket over a T-shirt or shirt, layer it with a sweater, or slip it under a coat on colder days. Its slightly oversized cut makes it easy to pair without looking too technical. With jeans, wide-leg pants, or even a well-chosen pair of sweatpants, it goes anywhere. The idea is for it to fit into your everyday life without any hassle.
How to wash this fleece?
The best thing to do is to machine wash it at 30° on a gentle cycle, then let it air dry. No need for a tumble dryer, which would damage the fiber and consume a lot of energy. The idea is to maintain its softness and shape, while respecting the planet. And since it doesn't easily retain odors, simply airing it between two wears is often enough.
Is Sherpa warm?
Yes, that's even its reason for being.
Its fleece material, teddy bear type, insulates well from the cold while remaining breathable.
The difference with a down jacket is that it is lighter, more flexible and therefore more pleasant to wear on a daily basis.
The fleece jacket is a must-have this winter!
What is the best jacket for cold weather?
The one that keeps you warm, obviously—but without making you feel like you're wearing a duvet.
The ideal is a well-insulated, breathable jacket that is comfortable to layer.
The Sherpa ticks all these boxes: soft, warm and light all at once.
